How Does Paw Prints ID Work?

The Paw Prints ID provides three different ways of contact for someone who finds your lost pet

1. QR Code

The Paw Prints ID QR Code printed on the tag will store all of the information you choose to provide. When this information is scanned by a smartphone, this information will be displayed to the person who finds your pet. They can then easily contact you. As an added bonus your smart tag will display any dietary information in case you can’t pick up your pet immediately.

When the QR code is scanned, a text and email will be generated to you within 30 seconds, informing you that your pet has been located! Additionally, if the finder’s smart phone has GPS mode enabled, the automatic email generated will contain a Google Maps location of where your pet was scanned.

2. Paw Prints ID website

In the event that the person who finds your pet does not possess a smartphone they can refer to the unique 7 digit ID number, located beneath the QR code. This can be entered into the PawPrintsID website and will provide them with different contact options and information about your pet.

3. 24 Hour Call Centre

If all else fails, the finder can call the 24/7 support phone number clearly printed on the tag. A Paw Prints operator will then pass on all the relevant information to you via email and text.
